The Challenge​

Lee’s Martial Arts specializes in many types of mixed martial arts in Crystal Lake, IL. Their instructors have over 30 years experience and wanted to highlight that expertise on their website and social media channels.  Their marketing had been on pause for quite some time before Point of Action Marketing was contract to help.  A Website Development Strategy became an immediate priority due to code issues with their WordPress Website.

The Strategy

Point of Action Marketing analyzed existing data to produce a website site strategy that would result in an optimized website presence and improve SEO value. During the ideation, development and deployment of the new website Point of Action Marketing  began work on growing Lee’s Martial Arts organic and social presence through  postings on social media and local listings.

Website Design

Identifying the platform and theme for the website redesign was the first step in the process after analyzing page data to ensure SEO value was not lost. Lee’s Martial Arts and Point of Action Marketing utilized the WordPress and Elementor, a premiere page builder as well as the Hello Elementor theme.

Search Engine Optimization

Although the previous website didn’t rank for a high volume of keywords, they did have rankings for target keywords which Point of Action Marketing expanded on with new and revamped content.

Social Media

With Lee’s Martial Arts already having social media accounts, Point of Action Marketing expanded their reach through a data driven social media strategy that focused on scheduling, consistent and on brand messaging as well as video posts.
